transformation" is one of the multidimensional management concepts in the digital era, which was conceptually created with the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution. Digital transformation means a systematic, technology-based, goal-oriented and result-oriented set of fundamental planned agile changes in the organization. Due to the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution and the emergence of the digital age, public libraries have not been spared from changes and developments. The purpose of this research is to identify research approaches, dimensions and components of digital transformation of this type of libraries.
Research method: The current research, in terms of practical purpose, in terms of nature, is located in the paradigm of interpretivism, in terms of method, qualitative and descriptive, and in terms of approach, it is based on a systematic review. The statistical population of the research includes all scientific works related to the foundations and dimensions of the digital transformation of public libraries, including 567 works retrieved from 10 scientific databases in the period from 2015 to 2024 (corresponding to 2013 to 2024), of which, by performing the screening process 39 works were selected for further review and analysis.
Findings: Based on the findings of the research, digital transformation in public libraries is based on the principle that in the digital age, the focal point and source of fundamental changes in a public library is related to the "development of technological management style with the aim of network transformation". Digital transformation includes two main technical and social dimensions and consists of 10 networks and 33 components, and as long as these networks (including the network of physical spaces, technology network, infrastructure network, resource network, service network, co-creation network, governance network, Stakeholder network, value network and risk management) are not transformed. Public libraries are not transformed digitally. The rate of progress in the digital transformation of public libraries is a function of the evolution in the networks of that organization. The researchers of this research called the topic "digital transformation of the network based in public libraries".
The value/authenticity of the research: compared to the social history of public libraries, few researches have been conducted in the field of digital transformation in these libraries, but it seems that the current research is considered an innovative effort from several perspectives: (a) In this research, an attempt has been made Based on the operational start of digital transformation in 2015, when the process of digitalization of people's work and life style was objectified, the issue of digital transformation in public libraries will also be reviewed and investigated; (b) Since public libraries are considered a social institution today, this research highlighted the importance of "network transformation" in the digital transformation of this kind of libraries with an innovative perspective.
