Journal of Research on Information Science and Public Libraries is a peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal that publishes articles for librarians, information scientists, specialists, managers and educators interested in keeping up to date with the most recent issues and developments in the field of Public Libraries and Information Science Studies. As a leading journal of library research, RISPL embraces a wide array of original research perspectives, approaches, and quantitative, qualitative, evaluative, analytic, and mixed methodology to reflect all aspects of information science and assess the role of libraries in communities and in society.
          The submitted papers will be published after special review as well as the approval of the editorial board. The journal was established by the Iran Public Libraries Foundation in 1991. The honorable professors and researchers are highly appreciated if they visit this site, register, submit and set up their papers based on authors guideline. Therefore, visiting in person or calling the journal office are not recommended, so all connections with authors and reviewers are done through the website.
