Abstract
Purpose: The present research aimed at determining the casual relationship between the variables of organizational atmosphere, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and developing a model in other to improve the organizational citizenship through the management of organizational atmosphere and attitude variables in Iran’s public libraries.
Methodology: The data required in this applied survey were collected by descriptive questionnaire based on structural equations model. The research population included personnel of Iran Public Libraries Foundation (IPLF).
Findings: Organizational atmosphere of public libraries had a significant relationship with job satisfaction of librarians working in the IPLF. There was also a strong relationship between organizational satisfaction and organizational commitment as well as the librarian’s OCB. No relationship was found between organizational commitment and the organizational citizenship behavior of librarians working in the IPLF. Further, no significant relationship was observed between the organizational commitment as well as the OCB of IPLF librarians. In the structural equations model, it is necessary to take a clear-cut conclusion about the overall fitting of the model. Accordingly, our proposed model was in good situation in such indexes as RMSEA, AGFT, and GFT. Therefore, it can be concluded that the model is good one in terms of fitting.
Originality/Value: This work is the first time that the relationship of organizational atmosphere with attitude variables such as organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior of IPLF personnel and a model is proposed aiming to improve their OCB through the management of organizational atmosphere and attitude variables in Iran’s Public Libraries.

Abstract
Purpose: The present research aims to study the relationship between organizational atmosphere and organizational commitment in the public libraries of Mashhad city.
Method: The present research is an applied descriptive survey research. The population is 117 librarians in the public libraries of Mashhad city. Data collection was done by questionnaires. The research questionnaire was designed based on Halpin and Craft’s organizational atmosphere description and Meyer and Allen’s organizational commitment questionnaire.
Findings: The findings showed that librarians’ satisfaction with organizational atmosphere conditions in the items related to the individual’s interaction with other staff (with total average of 4.17) is higher than their satisfaction in terms related to the interaction between the staff and the manager (with the total average of 2.83). It was found that the respondents’ organizational commitment in all indexes is higher than average (3). Generally, there is no significant relationship between organizational atmosphere and organizational commitment in Mashhad city public libraries. Also, in terms of organizational commitment, there is no significant difference between male and female librarians, while the librarians with no degree in library science have more organizational commitment than those who have a degree.
Originality/Value: Till now, no research has been conducted regarding the organizational atmosphere and organizational commitment in Iran. This research has been conducted in the public libraries of Mashhad city for this purpose. This research also discusses one of the basic issues in the field of man power in libraries which needs deeper research.

Abstract
Purpose: Organizational commitment can be explained by the quality of services provided by the staff. Thus, the study of the factors affecting the organizational commitment in Libraries can help us to have a managerial view about quality of services. Psychological contract is a new concept that hypothetically has a significant effect on organizational commitment. This study aimed to determine the effect of psychological contracts and organizational trust on organizational commitment of librarians in public libraries of Kerman Province.
Methodology: This research was applied by means of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a statistical method. The study population consisted of all librarians who are working in public libraries in Kerman province. According to Cochran formula, sample of 120 participants selected and randomized based on cluster sampling. 3 questionnaires were used to collect information about organizational commitment, organizational trust and psychological contracts. The obtained data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling with PLS 2 software.
Findings: Findings firstly indicated that the research model had a good fit, and secondly, all direct and indirect routes except direct route between organizational commitment and psychological contracts were approved (Pvalue<0/01). The final model was presented after removing the direct path between psychological contracts and organizational commitment. Also, in evaluating the librarians organizational commitment components in terms of gender, the results showed that men compared to women ranked higher continuous commitment positions (Pvalue<0/01).
Originality/Value: This study showed that psychological contracts have affected the organizational trust and commitment. This trust leads to a positive psychological climate among librarians. Thus, to create a positive psychological environment in the libraries, it is necessary to establish an organizational commitment.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the relationship between psychological empowerment and organizational commitment in public librarians of Alborz Province. The research conducted in the winter of 1393.
Methodology: This study is a descriptive survey. Public libraries of Alborz Province can be categorized in three clusters: institutional, participatory and independent. Statistical population of the research includes all 93 librarians employed in institutional cluster of Alborz public libraries, and we selected a random sample of them for data gathering process. To collect data, we used two questionnaires: Spritzer’s psychological empowerment questionnaire and Allen & Meyer’s organizational commitment questionnaire. The reliability and validity of the tool tested and approved. We used one sample t-test and Pearson correlation test for data analysis.
Findings: Results showed that there is a significant correlation between psychological empowerment and organizational commitment of public librarians. Furthermore, all aspects of psychological commitment such as sense of effectiveness, sense of competency, sense of occupation in meaningful job, sense of independence and sense of confidence had direct and positive correlation with organizational commitment.
Originality/Value: We tried to show the importance of psychological empowerment of public librarians and its condition in a province of Iran. The importance of organizational learning emphasized according to the findings.
