Study of Journal Evaluation Criteria in Citation Reports of Persian Publications in the Islamic Countries Science Citation Database of the Regional Center for Science and Technology Information

Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the journal selection criteria in the Persian Journal Citation Reports (PJCR) database of the Regional Center for Science and Technology Information, which will be measured against the criteria available in the Thomson Scientific Institute (ISI). In this study, a survey and evaluation method was used, in which the data collection tool was a checklist consisting of a general criterion with 4 components, and Excel software was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study showed that in the journal evaluation section, the PJCR database scored 117.75 points. This means that this database meets 89.20 percent of these indicators.
