Abstract
Every year, an international book fair is held in Tehran, and from a few months before until the event, which usually takes place around the second half of May each year, cultural and scientific institutions make efforts to prepare for this major cultural event. The main and main goal of holding the fair is definitely to increase the level of book reading and to raise the culture of reading; because it is assumed that those who buy books want it because of its scientific, cultural and artistic content. By approving such a major cultural and national event, if we want to critically examine this major annual event and consider the amount of financial and human resources costs and mental and psychological concerns for carrying it out, we must see if such an action is necessary and a priority? It is often heard that some people are not very interested in attending the fair, not to buy, but even to browse and enjoy the booths. It seems that this great cultural, scientific and cultural event should be examined and scrutinized every year from various aspects, and if necessary, study and research programs should be considered for it. If we want to deal with this issue pathologically and critically, the following should be mentioned:
