چکیده
هدف: پژوهش حاضر قصد دارد تا مؤلفه‎ها، اَبعاد اصلی و فرعی مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی را بکاود و بررسی کند که این مؤلفه‎ها چقدر در کتابخانه‎های عمومی تحقق یافته است.
روش: پژوهش حاضر به روش ترکیبی و در دو مرحلۀ کیفی و کمی انجام شد. در مرحلۀ کیفی، با مرور متون مقالات پژوهشی انگلیسی‎زبان، مؤلفه‎های مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی شناسایی شد. در مرحلۀ کمی، مؤلفه‎های مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی به پرسشنامه تبدیل شد و اعتباریابی گردید. جامعۀ پژوهش در مرحله کمّی کاربران فعال کتابخانه‎ عمومی حسینیۀ ارشاد و کتابخانۀ عمومی پارک شهر تهران بودند.
یافته‎ها: یافته‎ها نشان داد که مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی شامل پنج بُعد اصلی و 11 بُعد فرعی است که عبارتند از ترویج عقلانیت انتقادی (فهم انتقادی، آگاهی تاریخی)، عقلانیت پاسخگویی (بیان مستدل، عدالت‎خواهی)، عقلانیت گفتگو (سانسورزدایی، گفتگومحوری)، الهام‎بخشی اجتماعی (هنر اجتماعی، ادبیات اجتماعی)، و اجتماع‎سازی (حریم‎شناسی، جامعه‎پذیری، آگاهی‎بخشی). همچنین، یافته‎ها نشان داد که از نظر کاربران کتابخانۀ حسینۀ ارشاد و کتابخانۀ پارک شهر، ابعاد پنج‎گانۀ مسئولیت اجتماعی در کتابخانه‎های عمومی تحقق نیافته است و تفاوت معناداری بین نظر این دو گروه از کاربران وجود نداشت. همچنین یافته‎ها نشان داد که گروه سنی 31 تا 40 سال، تحقق الهام‎بخشی اجتماعی را کمتر از بقیه ارزیابی کردند و نیز گروه درآمدی 10 الی 15 میلیون تومان در ماه، تحقق عقلانیت انتقادی، الهام‎بخشی اجتماعی، اجتماع‎سازی، و کلیت مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی را نسبت به بقیۀ گروه‎های درآمدی بسیار کم‎تر ارزیابی کردند. یافته‎های حاصل از مدل‎یابی معادلات ساختاری نشان داد که مسیر عقلانیت انتقادی، الهام‎بخشی اجتماعی، و اجتماع‎سازی تنها مسیر معنادار در مدل است. این بدان معناست که عقلانیت انتقادی، مهم‎ترین عامل اثرگذار بر الهام‎بخشی اجتماعی است و این دو نیز به‎طور معناداری بر اجتماع‎سازی اثرگذار هستند. همچنین، عقلانیت گفتگو بیشترین اثرغیرمستقیم را بر اجتماع‎سازی داشت و بنابراین به نظر می‎رسد که اولویت‎دارترین مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی، ترویج عقلانیت گفتگو است.
اصالت/ ارزش: پژوهش حاضر تلاش کرده تا مقولات و مصادیق مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی ایران را ارائه نماید. همچنین، در این پژوهش نشان داده شده که تحکیم و ترویج عقلانیت گفتگو در اجتماعات، اولویت‎دارترین مسئولیت اجتماعی کتابخانه‎های عمومی است.
